Second time playing the Palmer Course @ Turtle. Definitely a bit overpriced for what you get but the course itself is nothing to schnazz at. That being said, the rental clubs are nothing short of spectacular. Titleist GT woods, T-100 irons, SM10 Vokeys, and a Scotty Fastback. Sadly, the greens have been rather mediocre both times playing here now. The majority of the greens were top dressed with sand, and while that is necessary for green health, it’s poor to play on. Overall had a swell time!
Course was in decent shape. Bunkers very inconsistent. Pace of play was slower than a snail. Marshall was letting people go off as singles. Only one hole had ocean view, and you can only see it from 17 green. Only good thing about it was I played well. Wouldn’t play again if I visit Hawaii again.
