Back nine closed, very wet

I love this course, its a real hidden gem of a design. The striking 3rd and 17th holes, longer front nine and target golf back 9 make it an interesting round. The condition could be better yes but I go to my members club for pristine conditions. I go here for a fun quirky casual round. For a value public pay and play it's a cracking round.

Beautiful looking course, very challenging in places. The front 9 is not the best kept course due to the wildlife and especially the geese, hundreds of them and of course the mess they leave... The back 9 was excellent 👌 the bunkers, if you get in them, are hard to get out, I imagine with the little amount of sand in them.

Not bad for a public course, enjoyed playing it. Few areas that could have been better like the fairways being a bit trampled and the greens not having the previous holes location not filled in when they move the pin but overall good for a public track.

I've played many times here both in summer and winter. The course is kept in good nick throughout the year. Even in winter (unless there's alot of rain! Or a frost) It's always open. Overall, book early and you'll be fine.
