Fun course for a casual round, not particularly challenging once you know it. In great condition with true greens. Picturesque holes around Lumley Castle are nice, some holes otherwise a little bit up and down but bunkers are well placed to keep it interesting. Couple of holes drive over other greens which can hold up play when it’s busy. Friendly welcome, value can vary based on time of day. Highlight: Hole 11, drivable par 4 that tees off next to the castle grounds and sweeps down right.
