Great course for practicing the short game. Like always, the rough at etchinghill really swallows balls, so stick to the fairways
Good course, some tricky holes

The Leas course is challenging; majority of the course is on a slop/hill side so not very forgiving in terms of wayward shots. A lot of the back 9 is very narrow and guarded with trees; that said it’s not thick in the ground so finding balls isn’t too bad if you go in. Highlight is the 15th 225 yard Par 3 (see photo). Going was slow for a Friday afternoon but believe that to be due to a society outing that caused queues.
