booked round just before a ladies comp. was not mentioned by anyone in pro shop. the tee of the second hole, one the ladies members told us about the comp on and that and we would have to let the groups through. On the 3rd we let 4 of the womens groups through waiting there for about 40mins. had enough of waiting, we played, let another group through on the 4th, told on the green of the 4th pace of play was slow and had to leave. We explained the situation and were laughed at and treated rudely.

When we arrived we were told we could play straight away and all was good. They regretted to inform us that there was a competition in play, and the team informed us we had to explicitly let them all play through. So we were sat waiting for people to play through for a total of an hour. The Marshall Richard Lawrence then told us we were playing too slow and had to stop our game, we were laughed at and they were incredibly rude when we tried to explain the situation. Very disappointing.
