I first rated this course in the summer and was pleasantly surprised. Completely different story in winter. Greens are really in need of some attention but the temporary tees (mats) are really bad, uneven and in some cases not even big enough to address the ball. Better off playing just off the mat of you want a more even lie.
Course is generally in a good condition, better than expected. Fairways are getting a little soft underfoot especially considering we haven’t had rain for a couple weeks.
Nice to see for a woodlands course that the fallen leaves are taken care but there are a couple of holes like the 4th that need this attending to.
Bunkers are soft and consistent which makes a nice change compared to other local courses.
Overall was really pleasantly surprised and look forward to another round.
Quite a tough par 3, especially for us high handicappers! Good value for money and the fairways/greens are in very good condition.
My first regular club, so I don’t mind it as not much to compare to. Not stuffy in the clubhouse and the fairways and greens are in decent enough condition for a beginner to tackle. Challenging with lots of trees and undergrowth in play alongside the fairways. Sure there are better courses but the price here is good and if you pick your time right it’s not too busy.
