Played on a charity golf day .
There is no Charity on those greens.
Having played the new course the day before I was expecting a more varied and interesting course - contrary to popular belief it is still full of long straight par 4’s .
Lots of divots on fairways , a sign of previous golf days and rude visitors! Sort it out lads !
But overall let’s go back to those greens - even on a wet day with standing water , super fast and unreadable.
Might return with a crystal ball.

Beautiful course set in the Surrey countryside.
New course has some detractors but you cannot fault the condition of tees, fairways and greens.
Tough to score well and some tricky pin placements from a non sympathetic green team!
The long par 4’s and 5’s keep the round long so when the signature 18th to the club house terrace over the River Mole appears it is a welcome sight . Just don’t thin it into the water as I did

More interesting than the New, but quite a lot shorter. Plenty of interesting holes makes for a good test of golf. The course is currently very dry as they have run out of water, so fairways very patchy, greens are however first class and hard to read/fast.

Good course, great greens, good use of water, very challenging off Black tees. Course desperate for water so too many scrappy lies and bare patches. Staff great in pro-shop and half way hut. Pace of play average.
