This is a fantastic course to practice your short game. The course is well groomed. The greens can be a little fast. The pace is a bit slow on the weekend, but the weekdays allow you to go at a faster pace.
We went at 6p in the evening. It wasn’t very hot but it was breezy. Very nice. There are no karts but the walking is pretty easy. The courses are very hilly and well taken cared of.
Texas summers can be brutal. Getting in a quick nine holes to work on the short game before the heat is unbearable is exactly what East River 9 offers. Wonderful facilities, friendly staff, and great food. Perfect venue for the whole family.
