Boricua! 🇵🇷 El Legado is a real gem near the Southern town of Guayama. It is absolutely worth the drive from San Juan to play this course that is framed by the beautiful mountains of the region. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled true. The fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. This course is a quality challenge and a great tribute to its designer, the late Chi Chi Rodriguez. The clubhouse staff and dining room servers were welcoming and courteous. Even the iguanas smiled at me!

Very nice course in the south of the island. Its a 50 minute drive from San Juan to Guayama, PR. Plays pretty long. Interesting shots have to be made if you miss the tee shot. Compared to most of the courses in the island I rank this property in the top 5. It has a bar & restaurant area, (try their beef empanadas, they are delicious!), small pro-shop that has all the golf basics, balls, tee’s, polo shirts, shoes, etc. They open from Tuesday-Sunday year around.
