Really enjoyed it, can’t wait to play it when the weather is nicer.

greatt course very affordable, much nicer than the last time i played

Played here earlier in the summer and the course, especially the greens, have improved a ton since then. Rough is extremely thick though. Be prepared to lose a few balls if you can’t stay in the fairway. Looking forward to my next round here.

Wish I could say I liked this course because the range & food was great. But, the course condition was the worse I have ever played. There were about 5 greens blocked off and instead the flag was placed in the fringe or end of the fairways. So we were basically putting off regular grass. Tee boxes looked like they haven’t been unkept in years. Fairways were full of cut grass. 0/10 would not recommend playing here to anyone visiting town.

Working on greens, 2 or 3 holes are not the actual green making it difficult to pace putts. Nice course overall, on the cheaper end with lots of forgiveness, great fairways as well

Greens are being repaired once everything is complete and it drums up some this will be a great course to play

The vibe at Ironclad is ideal. The staff are friendly and this is a family-oriented course/venue. We see the owners continuing to invest in the course. These are all positive. The only negative…what is going on with the greens? They seem to be getting worse instead of better. We’ll be back but it will be a while as we’ll give the greens keepers time to figure this out.

This is hands-down, one of the worst courses in North Carolina. If you wanna go play alongside of guys with a bunch of cut off jeans. And you don’t mind the greens being completely covered in sand and nearly impossible to put on, this is your spot. It’s more like iron-garbage. Oh, and yes, this is a real toilet that they just sat outside while they were remodeling a bathroom. It’s been there for two weeks. Absolutely disgusting.

Course is in good shape, family atmosphere with a lot to do. Friendly staff & well organized. Definitely recommend!

Very upset with it. Greens should not be played none of the now front nine greens are playable soaked painted sand. The beer and food is amazing!!!! Golf is not worth the money right now. Close the front nine reopen the back. Will not be back for some time. But there is so much potential here.
