I’ve always been a fan of Par 3’s this is a fun course to walk and work on your scoring game.
This course is great for beginners just learning how to swing a club and gauge distance. However on the top of the hill at hile seven and the green of hole 8, the greens and grounds keepers have a hard time keeping them "clean". On the hole 7 tee box the divots made by irons and wedges dint get filled in and absolutely destroy the tee box. The hole 8 green has a massive spot where the grass doesnt take very well to seed and regrowth. Other than those two things this course is great for beginners
This is one of the first courses I ever played when I started golf. I've heard its gotten multiple awards for best course in NM. Yhe things that bugs me is in the middle of some of the fairways on like hole 14, there are these massive ground under repair spots that will mess up the course of a rolling ball, but overall I like this course.
Top notch course, especially for $35 cart included. Fairways and greens in excellent condition considering it being February. I think besides the hole boundaries being kind of random and inconsistent, my only complaint would be the cart paths. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a course with dirt paths, which is surprising given the quality of the course itself.
This is a really good course. If it were anywhere other than Hobbs it would easily be $80+ per round. There’s not much this course doesn’t have that you would expect at a high end club. Better than most courses within 100 miles and half the price.
