Charlie Tiersch, Head of Strategic Partnerships at 18Birdies, can be found spending his free time either golfing or traveling to far-off places like Galapagos, Tanzania, and Alaska to experience and photograph the grandeur of untouched nature. Charlie brings over 18 years’ experience driving growth and business development strategies for businesses ranging from start-up through Fortune 500.

Prior to joining 18Birdies, he worked at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as the Vice President of Video and Business Development where he led business development, digital strategy, and video.  Charlie has also worked at NBC News as VP of Strategic Initiatives where he was responsible for developing and executing growth strategy, as well as Showtime Networks where he developed, launched, and ran Showtime’s international channels. Today, Charlie is the driving force behind identifying and executing 18Birdies’ strategic partnership efforts.

Charlie received an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Boston University.
