Eric Goffney is the driving force behind 18Birdies’ customer support and operations strategies. He leads the teams providing support to users of the 18Birdies app and 18Birdies for Business customers.

Eric brings over 20 years of experience at the executive level, providing leadership and strategic direction to global customer support organizations during periods of change and rapid growth. Prior to joining 18Birdies, Eric held Senior Director positions with Lotus Development and IBM, and VP of Customer Support, Success, and Operations positions with Netcom, Excite@Home, Solectron, Shutterfly, and Trend Micro. In these roles, he aligned and integrated departments around the customer experience, increased subscriber life and product adoption, and drove high levels of employee morale and engagement.

Eric received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kent State University. When he’s not in the office, Eric can be found spending his free time as a handyman, building and repairing things around his home, and volunteering as a spotlight operator for the Children’s Musical Theater of San Jose.
