PGA Tour Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks - The Masters

Lock of the week: Dustin Johnson $11,300 - DJ is the #1 golfer on the planet right now for a reason. He’s logged 10 of 26 career rounds under par at ANGC. That’s better than most on a difficult golf course. His length is a clear advantage here considering the 2nd shots at Augusta are so critical to success. His wedge play and putting is as good as it’s ever been. The World's No.1 golfer is our favorite of the top four on DraftKings.

Value Plays

Justin Rose $9,200 - Here’s a secret...Rose plays ANGC very well! 10 of his last 20 rounds were under par and only six of them have been over par. He’s got the ball striking, driving distance, accuracy necessary to win his 1st Green Jacket. The price tag of $9200 is a touch low for a major champion in good form with great course history here. We love him in cash or GPP contests as he’s usually overlooked.

Phil Mickelson $8,700 - Phil is always an extremely popular play for The Masters, but for good reason. Phil has the history here, he’s playing very well, and he’s the perfect combination of length and short game wizardry to win maybe a couple more Green Jackets before he hangs it up. Granted, he didn’t play great in Houston last week, but we aren’t scared of that. A lot of pros seemingly “mailed it in” last week at the Shell, but Phil is magic at Augusta. Maybe the T55 last week will make a few people fade him in GPP tournaments.

Paul Casey $7,800 - Casey is easily one of our very favorite plays of the week! He’s always under the radar and not considered by the public to be a great value, but we love him. Paul is a pure ball striker which is important when you consider the wind likely playing a big factor this week in Augusta. He’s also a proven wind player that competes in tough conditions against major level fields. We’re playing Casey in every DFS format on every site.

Best bargain basement option

Kevin Kisner $6,900 - Kiz is sleeping in his own bed this week having grown up minutes from ANGC, and he’s showing some sharp form of late as he almost won Bay Hill. We were at the course Sunday for the Drive, Chip, and Putt, and we saw Kiz really putting in work on the short game range for a couple of hours with his coach. Kisner is one of those guys near the bottom that we actually believe could win this year. We’re playing him in cash and GPP tournaments.

Player to avoid Henrik Stenson $9,500 - Stenson seems to be an easy fade here considering the poor form and benign course history at ANGC. The big Swede is a ball striker for sure with experience in the wind, but the short game is concerning. He’s made one cut in his last four events and has shown a lot of frustration on the course lately. We’d rather pay up for Henrik when his mind and short game are sharp. We will likely have ZERO exposure across all sites
