Demo Day at the PGA Merchandise Show attracts golf fanatics from all over the globe to come to test out the latest balls, sticks and gear. Not to mention, brush shoulders with the hottest names in golf. The event is held at the Orange County National Golf Center and Lodge on the largest driving range in the US – it boasts a whopping 42 acre circle!
That didn’t stop Ryan Winther, the 2012 Re/Max Longest Drive Winner, from practically nailing people on the other side of the circle while driving. Another highlight for fans was the Redbull Music Truck blasting dance music at the Cobra Tent where players like Lexi Thompson showed of their swing.
Golf boards and the Golf Skate Caddy enticed people to ride around the paths while the Focus Band tent helped goers hone in on their brain power to boost accuracy while on the practice range.
The culture of demo day is pure. The most hard-core, curious players want to get out and try the latest drivers and gadgets to see what’s out there to improve the experience.
