The natural beauty is all there, no doubt, the course is not hard, except if you are in the rough. I played one week after the Farmers Open, the regular PGA tour event,the rough was punishing, the best defense the course has. The range conditions are horrendous, mats and not even enough of them, people lined up three-deep waiting to warm up for the round. The locals, specially during the weekend, come to the range to hit a few, however, because of that give yourself extra time for warmup
