Beautiful course, can’t justify how ridiculously overpriced it is though for a public course. From the tee time, to push cart, to reservation fees, all while not even having ball washers at the holes. Big money grab here. The thick rough is very unforgiving and hard to get out of. Course was in great condition with some amazing views especially on the back 9. The constant loud flying of military aircraft above from fighter jets, to helicopters to osprey, pretty distracting and very loud.
Beautiful scenery and course conditions, but for the most part this course is a cash grab. Everything is super overpriced, including the green feeds, carts and the gift shop. Also, in January, they grow the rough so long it’s difficult to find your ball and hard to hit out of. Overly penalized for missing fairways. The greens are also fairly fast and very undulating. Hardly a straight putt out there.
A beautiful but punishing course. Stay out of the rough and you might just stand a chance.
Cost for a PGA course combined with views is all good, but the rough is truly that….
The cream of the crop in San Diego. Beautiful course that plays right along the cliffs of the Pacific Ocean. Layout is creative, challenging, and beautiful. You better be accurate and straight of the 6” rough will come out to bite you. Course is a bucket list item for any golfer!
Beautiful course. The rough is VERY rough and deep
