Greens are immaculate, however , the fairway was hard as rock. Paid $215. Was expecting the overall course to be in better shape. Bare areas in the rough and around tee boxes. Doesn’t really affect the actual course though. Great layout. Some great holes. More difficult than the Disney courses. Disney is even more of a resort layout. Staying at the hotel on site. Worth it.
Solid track. Nicklaus course in better shape.
My family are members here. Always a fun course with some fun scoring holes. Even after it rained in the morning, the course was still in great shape.
Very beautiful course! Thanks to Mike Semak for an awesome day! Great ranger and great guy!
20 plus MPH winds made the day tough, but a gorgeous place to play!!!
Reunion is a great “complex” for gold trips with the crew.
No pin placement, hard to get correct distance, place of play was very slow
Played the Watson course 12/28/22, the course was the toughest course I’ve ever played. Had a great time, was paired with a father/son from Minnesota. I had a great end to my 3 days of golf.
Played the Nicklaus Course on Friday toward the end of my trip, and had another fun round. Course was in great shape aside from bunkers, and the staff was excellent. Played in the morning so it was fairly crowded. I was paired with a resident and his guest, and we all had a good time. There was a beverage cart unlike earlier in the week on the Watson. It really just seemed like the resort cares a lot more about this course than the others, which is a shame given that it’s the consensus worst course of the 3. But worst is relative, it’s still a Nicklaus signature and a really good course. Nice wide relatively flat fairways are great for all players. But the greens are tiny and there’s a lot of water, including a few forced carries, are challenges for this golf course, making some of the holes seem unfair. As with the Watson if you’re at Reunion it’s worth the play, especially in the summer with lower rates. But if I had to choose, I’d go with the Watson. Still, I had a great time!
