Highest quality course out of the public nyc courses. Greens fairly slow. Good value for the price. Biggest issue is that pace of play is abysmal. Expect a full round to take 5 hours or more.

This is my go to course. Honestly, it’s March and the season is just starting up so the course is decent considering it’s just starting up. It’s great for the value and pace of play is generally good. They do a great job pacing people to play.
Please get there 15-20 mins early and be ready to go. Don’t be THAT GUY that’s late and then scrambles to get on the tee just to duff the shot. Happens so often. Get there early, stretch a bit and just tee up after the group before you goes and get ready.
Back 9 always a bit more challenging. Carts are alright. They do a great job following COVID protocols.
Overal great for a public course in NYC. If you’re expecting more pristine conditions, go out further into Long Island or hop over to Jersey but even then, there really isn’t too much difference. Most of us are just looking to practice in playable conditions to just get better right?

Fairways and greens kept in horrible conditions. Greens were half dirt, and fringe was mud. Huge portions of fairways were roped off due to damage. Green boxes in terrible condition, including a non mowed 17th tee box.
