The iconic drive to the club house sets the tone for what is the most immersive golf course I have ever played. This beautiful course merges seamlessly into the low country it rests upon. Ancient oaks and Spanish moss line every fairway. Greens arrise from sand like an oasis in a desert. Sections of this course felt discovered rather than built. This is a must play for any golfer who appreciates course architecture.

The course is in great shape except the sand levels in the bunkers is inconsistent.

5-8 minutes behind pace on cart path only day with nobody behind us, ranger kept threatening to make us skip a hole. Kind of ridiculous after paying 200 dollars and getting paired up with a 4th
