The iconic drive to the club house sets the tone for what is the most immersive golf course I have ever played. This beautiful course merges seamlessly into the low country it rests upon. Ancient oaks and Spanish moss line every fairway. Greens arrise from sand like an oasis in a desert. Sections of this course felt discovered rather than built. This is a must play for any golfer who appreciates course architecture.
