Everyone who plays golf regularly, always has those certain courses that they love to play. Meadowbrook is one of those for me. All 18 holes are bordered with trees/marshlands, while a certain few have water hazards to add to the holes difficulty. Most holes are dog legs and require a good tee shot to stay out of the trees. If you do hit the fairway, your approach shot will be daunting. You’re firing at all types of greens that each have their own defense. Small greens, elevated greens, greens with two tiers, greens protected by bunkers and water. Once you’ve got your ball on the green, you’ll have to really be in control of your speed. While not terribly difficult to navigate, each green will make you work for it. All in all, Meadowbrook will keep you honest. It will reward your good shots, but can also have you struggling to make par. It’s a great place to see where your game is at and also a great place for lunch after your round. Swing em well. 🏌🏼⛳️
