Excellent place. I co sided it one of the best places I’ve played at the last few years.

This is one of my favorite courses around here, and honestly one of the best conditioned public courses around VA. Highly recommend

Love Mattaponi! Best condition it’s been in for awhile. Still some dead spots on greens, but all in all running really well September ‘25. Always good people too. Kudos.

Played here over two years ago and the greens have degraded significantly since. And way too many holes with hazards under 250y from tees. Had to hit irons off of two tees and 5wood five or six times.

Absolutely love this course! Plus, great food at the turn

Course was in immaculate shape. Well worth the asking price to play.

Played on 4/17/25 and really enjoyed the course. Even though the greens had been punched a few weeks earlier, they were fast and rolled pretty true. Unfortunately the pace of play was very slow. Multiple times we had to wait 5-10 minutes for the groups in front to clear. Fairways were still pretty dormant but felt good. Definitely playing again. Hopefully pace of play improves.
