Course is absolutely epic jungle golf with amazing views and a challenging layout. The facilities were bare bones and for the price you expect a bit more. Staff was almost non-existent. Driving range is permanently closed, carts are barely functional (and you have to sign a waiver to take one out), there’s no locker room or restaurant and the starter was frazzled despite it not being very crowded. Lastly, it’s a pre-pay which is always a red flag. Play once and move on.
One time thing. It’s like playing in Jurassic park. Greens are so slow. Fairways were surprisingly baked when I played, very firm. Rough is short but thick. It’s the kind of course that you play once, but if you play again you know what clubs to hit. Don’t hit driver at all here and you won’t lose many balls. Hit driver and you’re losing a box. Recommend for a one time thing. The price is way too steep for what you get
The course is absolutely gorgeous. The practice areas could use some love. But the greens in every hole were kept pretty well. Most of the foarways were lush, but there were some big dry patches of brown. You WILL lose a bunch of balls, so make sure you bring 2 dozen. Overall a super chill and challenging course with a great and friendly staff.
Front 9 is like they stopped caring for tee, fairway and green maintenance. Back 9 was the opposite and in good shape. $180 full price is for the incredible views. Challenging course, front 9 especially difficult and narrow. Decent course for a 1-day in Oahu golf experience but due to conditions would not come back.
