The 18Birdies family is very pleased to welcome Stanford Men’s Head Golf Coach Conrad Ray, as a strategic advisor. In his 13 years of coaching at Stanford University, Ray has played with and coached some of the biggest names in golf, including Tiger Woods, Notah Begay, and 2017 Walker Cup champion, Maverick McNealy, who turned pro this past August.
Coach Ray has a long history of success coaching at Stanford, including being named National Coach of the Year in 2007 and winning Pac-12 Coach of the Year twice. His teams have appeared in 11 NCAA Championships and won a National Title in 2007. He has also helped produce 23 All-Americans, two Jack Nicklaus National Player of the Year Award recipients, two Ben Hogan Award winners and a Byron Nelson Award winner. In 2017, Coach Ray was inducted into the Golf Coach Association of America Hall of Fame.
"I couldn't be more excited to have someone of Conrad's caliber join the team," said CEO, Eddy Lui. "We will be working very closely together to make sure the 18Birdies platform meets all the needs of today's college and high school golf programs."
Welcome to the team Conrad!
