PGA Tour Fantasy Golf DraftKings Picks - RBC Heritage
Lock of the week: Matt Kuchar $11,500 - Kuchar landed a solid back door T4 last week at Augusta shooting a final round 64. Add two T25’s & two more T10’s this season, and you’ve got a player in fantastic form with incredible course history. He’s made 12 of 13 cuts at Harbour Town with five top 10s! Kuch is an accurate player that can easily navigate the tight fairways here. We like him in cash or GPP formats on DraftKings this week.Value Plays
Matthew Fitzpatrick $8,300 - FitzMagic is in wonderful form having not missed a cut since January. He’s a total ball striker with accuracy off the tee being his specialty. He’s also mentioned that this event is his favorite all year. That’s always a good sign, as is making five of the past six cuts on tour this season. We like him so much, we almost put him in as the lock of the week over Kuchar. Fantastic player to throw in your Cash or GPP lineups.
Kyle Stanley $7,200 - Stanley is coming off a T8 at the Shell, T17 at Bay Hill, and T27 at Valspar. He leads the PGA Tour in the Ball-Striking statistic which is the most heavily weighted stat this week at Harbour Town. He’s a steal at $7,200 on DraftKings. Stanley consistently proves to be low-owned as he’s not the sexiest pick around, but he has potential to land a top 10 or even win this event. Love him in cash or GPP contests.
Lucas Glover $7,200 - Glover is another pure ball-striker like Stanley, and is always in the top 25 in that stat category on the PGA Tour. He’s only missed one cut all year. His weakness is putting, but on a course like Harbour Town, where the greens are small, he doesn’t have to lag putt as much. We love that. Glover specializes throws darts into greens on a weekly basis. Give us darts on small greens with a lousy putter, and we’ll take it in cash or GPP contests.
Best bargain basement option
Boo Weekley $6,900 - Boo LOVES Harbour Town. He’s played here 10 times, never missed the cut, and won twice! He’s not in the greatest of form, missing five of the last nine cuts on Tour this season, but he checks the stat boxes. Guys like Boo tend to find form at places they love. This is the week to grab him while some may back off due to the recent play.Player to avoid
Branden Grace $10,000 - Grace is the defending champ here at Harbour Town, but he was in much better form last year coming in as he’s been a bit inconsistent this season. His price tag of $10K is the main reason for the fade here. DraftKings is overvaluing the defending champ, and we aren’t buying. We’d put him around the $8,300 mark if we were making prices. He’s not checking the stat categories the same way he was last year either. Fade in all formats and gain your edge.
