Masters week is BIG, so we had to make sure our 18Birdies App Update matched in excitement! From much-anticipated features to incredible improvements, we can barely contain our enthusiasm, so let’s dive right in to what’s new in version 7.2:

Apple Watch

You asked and we delivered! We’re stoked to announce that our Apple Watch app is completely free for all users. Using the native GPS in Series 2 and Series 3 Apple Watches, our app provides real-time distances to front, middle and back of the green, and lets you track your scores and stats directly from your wrist — allowing you to leave your phone in your cart or bag. Game Improvement Videos

New to our app is a full library of instructional videos taught by top-tier instructors, which are available for purchase starting today! Our instructors focus on the core principles necessary to build solid fundamentals, as well as advanced techniques to shave strokes and go lower than ever before. Once you unlock a lesson plan, this content will be accessible at any time, allowing you to hone your skills in a specific area of your game. At launch, our Game Improvement Lesson Plans cover the following categories:

• Full Swing
• Short Game
• Mental Game
• Fitness

Player Matching

As the 18Birdies community continues to grow, we’ve heard from a lot of you that you’d play more golf if you had other people to play with. With this in mind, we’ve built Player Matching, which allows you to opt-in to meeting local golfers and specify the types of players you’d like to match with.
