The Kankakee Country Club is a private, non-equity country club and maintains an 18-hole, finely manicured golf course nestled along the Kankakee River. The scenic river views, course conditions and rolling terrain is why Kankakee Country Club is known as one of the finest private clubs in the state. The very challenging 17th hole, a par 5 that borders the Kankakee River, is one of the most demanding and picturesque in Illinois. While the course is rather short and tight, it is maintained in superb condition by GCSAA professionals, making it an outstanding test of golf for even the finest players, yet offers a fantastic playing experience for players of all levels. The club's affordability, excellent golf programs and family appeal is why it is known as "The Jewel on the Kankakee". Conveniently located just one hour south of downtown Chicago, Kankakee Country Club is easily accessible from Interstate 57 or by daily train service from Chicago's Union Station. The club also provides pickup and drop off services for our non-resident members that utilize the rail service from downtown Chicago.
