Solid value, lack of fairways is an interesting choice. Hitting off dead grass is kind of a pain

Was a nice course open fairways and rough, would be a good course for new players and there is not a lot of places to get in trouble

Very good quality for the fee, friendly owners. Pace of play can be very slow sometimes but that is on the golfers not the owners

Love this place just there only 1 hole that’s not dead straight so if u are lookin for that would 100% recommend

Course was very well maintained ! Hit the 2:30pm tee time and it was very affordable at 37 dollars or something like that. Very wide open and the greens were very well maintained!

Skene Valley is a great course for this area. It's pretty wide open so you won't lose many balls. The greens are in excellent condition and the sand traps are well maintained. Pace of play has not been an issue for me. It's actually a rather long course so make sure you play the correct tees - playing from the whites is more than enough. Plenty of hill and undulations, I wouldn't want to walk the entire course. The 19th hole is a great spot with solid food and beer and a good view of the par 3 9th
