Overall, a very nice course. Fairways are very generously wide on most holes. All par 3’s are quite challenging. I was staying at the Iberostar JOIA Bavaro, and I got a great rate of $109 per person that included range balls, all beverages and snacks from the cart for free (beer and alcohol is for a charge), and a free replay of 9 or 18 holes. First 18 was about 4 hours. Second 18 (at 3:40 pm) took 2 hr 45 min. Didn’t play another courses in the DR so I don’t how it compares.
