Loved the scenery and conditions, but the course layout was very punishing and didn’t really feel like a seaside links course. I say that as a 23.7hdcp so take it with a grain of salt, but those are the reasons the course is being revamped next year so I feel sort of vindicated!

Really enjoyed Spanish Bay for the epic views and I highly recommend walking, in which our foursome was able to finish in less than 4.5 hours. This links course is a serious challenge that requires multiple club lengths off the tee that must go straight. The course service and restaurant was excellent as well.

Wonderful course. The views were amazing. The fairways were very tough but manageable. Can’t wait to play again.
