Beautiful course. Brutal today.

This course is potentially amazing but sadly destroyed by the incompetence behind it's leadership and the severely overpriced fees and range buckets. This course used to be run by an actual pro, used to be clean and professional looking, and used to sell golf equipment. They also used to have respectable membership fees. Sadly the club was turned over to the city of Del Rio, which is definitely not known for its ability to manage anything properly... It very quickly went straight down hill and has been sub par ever since. I'll stick to out of town courses and the Leaning Pines course on Laughlin Air Force Base. It's more worth paying for the drive to San Antonio than to pay for a lackluster course with poor management and overpriced fees.
