This is a semi-private course operated for the residents of Nacona Hills neighborhood. They will still allow the public to play, but you must stop in the diner at the entrance to the neighborhood right next to the security gate. Go in and ask for Bear, and he will get you set up.
The clubhouse is dilapidated and closed down. They had a cart available for me to use, but it appears it’s generally a ‘bring your own cart’ or walk kind of place.
The course itself is in pretty decent shape, especially for a rural course. The fairways are a little rough, but that’s Texas in the summer. Most of the greens are in pretty good shape where a couple may need some repair, but all in all, well watered and well cared for.
Fun course! Great value. Definitely recommend as long as you don’t mind a few of the nuances. This is not your traditional course where you walk into the pro shop and pay for your round, but is a fun course with very little traffic.
