The course is really very good, a special place. Weiskopf/ Morrish course originally built in the 80s has been rehabbed by new owners after a long closure. It's very fine, such a pleasure. Routing is amazing, front nine jumps back and forth over a stream. Back nine climbs up a hill and back. So many good holes. I loved 8, a par five that doglegs hard left over the stream. 14 is great, 16 too. High recommendation! La Veta is a cool town. Course empty in October 25. Conditions amazing. Killer view

Wonderful course. Awesome views, difficult and dynamic holes though approachable with forethought and planning. The pro shop is also clean, staff are friendly and the food is solid. Will return!
