Lovely course, challenging at times, quick greens

Course is good, when not vandalised. Wimbledon Common is a publicly shared space with London Scottish GC & Wimbledon Common GC. Play is glacially slow, for justified Health & Safety concerns, particularly on competition days. Fairways are OK, but stony where bare, the rough can be impenetrable & a lost ball, & slow greens need drainage investment. The course suits skilled players, not beginners, and good on-course manners! Matthew at the Pro shop is very good but the club house was untried.
