The course itself is in very good condition. I feel like the first few holes are kind of average but then the course character builds. The par 3s are terrific. The major negative I would include for this course is the overall stuffiness. Even though the course is very nice, it doesn’t make my top 15 list. I’ve played a lot of great courses. However, judging by the way the membership and the staff look at the course, you would think it was in my top three. There’s no reason for this course to be so difficult to get onto and for the members to be so uppity. I have played better courses that don’t treat guests, or potential guests, this way. It really decreases the enjoyment factor for playing the course.
