ICC has been my home club since I started playing at age 7. Don't let the yardage fool you; hit a few wayward tee shots and/or not be used to uneven lies and stances---your score will skyrocket real quick.
The card reads 5577, but the course plays more like 6,000.
The greens are probably the smallest around, so you better be accurate. The speed of the greens are always above average--especially for a public course and for as many elderly men that play who NEVER fix ball marks, they run true.
My handicap of +1.6 shows that I have the advantage of playing a short course. I get a lot of short game and wedge practice in.
The last 4 holes are probably the best set of finishing holes around in western PA.
If I make putts, 65 and under is what I expect...
If I don't make putts, then it's 68...
I am very lucky to have a good relationship with the ownership to allow me to come out at 530AM daily and practice.
I also work and play out of The Madison Club.
