Sandy River Baptist Assoation contracted With Spring Lake Golf Course to host Captain Choice Golf Tournament Thursday September 26th. With Shot gun start 8:30am. Due to Tropical storm and Intense raining From 6am -12noon. Spring Lake refused to offer Sandy River a rain check and made them play In the tropical storm. Sandy River had registered over 68 player for Tournament and Due to bad Weather Only 15 players played and the Rest of the players lost $70-$80 per player. Not right what happen

Greens are very fast. Fairways are well maintained. Overall, it was a great place to play for the price. Recommend bringing someone who has played here before. Playing blind is difficult.
