The course was in really good condition. After two days of rain, it was muddy but impressively playable. The greens were being aerated which made it hard to putt but the rate was worth the drive from Newport News. The fairways were wide open and it was dog leg central. It was not a long course but definitely made you think where you wanted to place the ball off the tee box. Very enjoyable course for novice to mid-handicappers who want to challenge the mental side of the game.
