Fairways were slim. Lots of water hazards. Pace of place was good, staff was friendly. Great place to eat overlooking the first tee box. Cool course.

that others have complained about this particular ranger, and assured me that he will not have his job for very much longer. I don’t want to make any suppositions about why I was targeted and harassed, but this particular ranger, seemingly, had it out for me from the first moment he laid eyes on me. I truly hope it wasn’t profiling because of my color.
I love this course, and do hope they either retrain or terminate this ranger. As a business owner in the service industry, I certainly would not allow anyone who exhibits the behavior this man displayed to work for me.
I would love to give the course a 5 start rating, but I am unable to do so with behavior from an employee such as I experienced today.

After recently finding Fern Hill on Golf Now, I have visited the course 3 times a week for the past month or so; each time has been a great experience.
That all changed today. I was followed around by a ranger throughout the majority of the front 9. At the 14th tee-box he approached me and asked if I had paid to play the back 9, which I assured him I had. He continued to follow me, at times parking directly behind me during my tee shot. On the 16th fairway he approached me, yet again, and accused me of “jumping around”. Another wild claim, which I, once again, assured him was not the case. He continued to follow me. On the 18th tee box, he pulled his cart in front of mine and stated, “I want to know what you’re doing out here.” I scoffed and told him I was golfing.
When I reported this to the manager, he told me....cont
