Despite the wet conditions today, it’s clear that Formosa offers a pleasant resort-style golfing experience. The layout is generous and forgiving, with wide fairways and panoramic views over the Hauraki Gulf adding to the charm. While the rain made for a softer track and limited playability in places, the potential of the course is obvious—especially in drier conditions. A solid choice for a relaxed round, with plenty of natural beauty and a welcoming atmosphere.
