Poor course. It’s playable but far from looked after. For the price range of £40-50 per round it should be twice as good. The fairways are 1 inch grass. The bunkers absolutely no sand, greens not nice. It was extremely wet and boggy so ball plugged a lot even though not much rain. Wouldn’t play again.

My favourite in the South Lakes area. Nice relaxed pro shop and clubhouse atmosphere, everyone I’ve met have been very friendly so far. A more forgiving course for new starters and high handicappers in my opinion. Occasionally caught up behind slow players ahead but that would be my only complaint.
