Quirky course, fairways rough but very enjoyable loads of wildlife about aswell;

Very interesting course, played on the open plains of the New Forest. No fairways to speak of, just the animal nibbled landscape. Greens were, for the most part, in pretty good shape, although rock solid. Playing conditions were very tough as all shots apart from the tee felt like light rough escapes. £20 for a dusk round made it palatable, but I won't be going back. If you're a big animal fan, the livestock on the course may be of interest. Hole design was nice, but the terrain was rough.
