The rough is extremely long and almost unplayable. The main track is as long as the rough on most other courses I've played on. The greens were fine. Each hole is very thin with only a very small room for errors. There are often trees or their branches in the way. You T off of AstroTurf, so often not possible to use a wood. However, the courses are generally quite short so you don't need to use a wood. It's a fun cheap course but not forgiving enough on beginners for a 9 hole, in my opinion.
