In honor of the official launch of 18Birdies, we will be hosting a golf simulator battle that will feature Torrey Pines Golf Course. Think you have what it takes to win? If so, we encourage you to bring your A-Game and visit our booth.

The #18BirdiesBattle will feature the side games, Skins and Vegas. To compete, just sign up during the PGA Merchandise Show at booth #2054 or at our launch party hosted at Club 39 on Thursday, January 28th. You’ll be placed into foursomes, and play three iconic holes at Torrey Pines. Tracking your score will be easy with the 18Birdies App and scores will automatically be calculated and projected to live leaderboards at both events. Every hour we will tweet the top three leaders. You are encouraged to tweet your own pictures using #18BirdiesBattle for more chances to win prizes. 18birdiesbooth We’ll have prizes galore that will include hand-rolled cigars, VIP Swag Bags, Swingbytes and more. Skins Rules:

  • The player with the lowest score on the first hole wins Skins for that hole.
  • In the event of a tie, the Skin carries over to the next hole, doubling its worth.

Vegas Rules:

  • The lowest and highest score from each hole will be combined for a team score. The lower score is used as the first digit and the higher score as the second digit. For example, if Team 1 has scores of 4 and 6 on a hole, the team score is 46. If Team 2 has scores of 5 & 7, the team score is 57.
  • Determine the winning team by comparing the total score on each hole. In this case, the difference is 11 points so the team with the lowest score is awarded the points. After the first hole is complete, players with the best and worst score from the previous hole will be paired up for the next hole. For instance, the 4 would be playing with the 7 and the 5 would be playing with the 6.
  • Birdies and Eagles do the most damage. When a player makes a Birdie, the opposing team’s score will flip. For example, a team score of 47 becomes 74. When a player makes an Eagle, the opposing team’s score will flip and the difference between the scores will double.
  • In the event of a tie, the teams for the following hole do not change and the next hole becomes worth double.
