We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of the new Community tab in the 18Birdies app. This update is designed to improve your experience and help you stay connected with your golfing community.
With the Community tab, you will be able to easily manage your leagues and tournaments, follow your friends, view their scores, and stay up-to-date with all the latest activities in your golfing circles.
Let’s take a closer look at the key changes:
The Community Tab
The Community tab will replace the Feed on the bottom navigation bar and will serve as your central hub for everything related to your golfing community in 18Birdies. This upgrade will make it easier for you to access all the features that matter most to you and your friends.
All friend activities and posts in the Feed will function the same as they have, but will now be located in the Community tab. The Community tab brings together various functions, including the Feed, Leagues, Tournaments, Leaderboards, and Friends. It's like a golf ball retriever, but for all of your social needs.

Leagues and Tournaments
Leagues and Tournaments are moving from the Play tab to the Community tab. This means that you'll be able to manage your leagues and tournaments in one place. Whether you're creating a league or joining one, viewing upcoming tournaments, or tracking your competition progress in real-time, it can all be found in the Community tab.

Leaderboards
The Leaderboards tab is making its way to the Community tab. This means that you'll be able to see how you stack up against your friends and other golfers in the 18Birdies community. You'll be able to view live leaderboards amongst your friends & groups and see how you rank against competitors in your leagues and tournaments.
Friends
Finding and following your golfing buddies just got a lot easier with the Friends feature in the Community tab. You'll be able to view their scores and stats and stay connected with them in one place. This change will make it easier for you to stay up-to-date with your golfing community and build stronger connections with your friends and other golfers.
