18Birdies is hiring a part-time, remote Marketing Design Intern.
We’re looking for a student or recent graduate who loves visual design, digital storytelling, and experimenting with modern creative tools—including AI-assisted workflows.
In this role, you’ll create real campaign and product-launch work across the 18Birdies app, blog, email, and social channels. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing and Product, receive creative direction from our Senior Product Designer, and help shape experiences for a global community of more than 10 million golfers.

About the Marketing Design Internship
We’re looking for a Marketing Design Intern to create high-quality digital assets across the 18Birdies ecosystem. You’ll help bring campaigns, product launches, and new features to life across in-app promotions, blog content, email, social media, and other digital touchpoints.
This role is ideal for someone who is digitally native, visually driven, and comfortable using both traditional design tools and AI-assisted creative workflows. You’ll partner with the Marketing team day to day and report to the Senior Product Designer for creative direction, design reviews, and final approvals.

This internship is designed as a potential pathway into the 18Birdies design team. Interns who consistently demonstrate strong craft, ownership, and collaboration may be considered for a full-time opportunity after successfully completing the internship, depending on team needs.
What you’ll work on
- In-app campaigns and promotional graphics
- Email and blog design

- Illustration, iconography, motion, or image editing
Minimum qualifications
- Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a BFA or BA in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Visual Communication, or a related design discipline
- Strong foundation in typography, layout, composition, color, and visual hierarchy
- A portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, thoughtful execution, and sound design judgment
- Experience creating digital marketing assets through internships, freelance work, school projects, or personal projects
- Strong proficiency in Figma
- Comfort using Google Workspace
- Experience using AI tools in the design process, such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Flux, Ideogram, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback
- Clear communication and collaboration skills
Bonus qualifications
- Passion for golf or familiarity with the golf industry
- Experience incorporating AI into an active creative workflow
- Motion design or animation experience with tools such as After Effects, Rive, or Lottie
- Illustration or icon design skills
- Experience working within an established design system
- Photography or image-editing experience
Golf experience is a bonus, but it is not required.
