Recently, 18Birdies sponsored and scored the 4th Annual Patriots Golf Tournament held at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, CA. Patriots Honor is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to enabling our veterans who lost limbs during the Afghanistan and Iraq conflicts to pursue their recreational passions by providing state-of-the-art prosthetics and top-of-the-line sporting equipment to a Star Recipient at each event.

This year’s Star Recipient was Jared Lemon.  Jared joined the U.S. Army in 2006 and during his second deployments to Afghanistan, he was hit by an IED and lost his right arm. His injury, however has not stopped him from doing what he loves which includes scuba diving, mountain climbing and of course playing golf. As this year’s Star Recipient, Patriots Honor bought Jared specialized scuba equipment and brand new golf clubs and a bag!

Everyone had a blast keeping track of each other with our live leaderboards. We also had a hole sponsorship and held a long drive competition with Aerogolf! The long drive competition was a hit as everyone gave it a try. The winning shot ended up travelling 191 yards!

Check out our video recap below as well as photo highlights from the event!
